Personal – Quality Not Quantity

Learning is the strongest suite among all the lousy hands I’ve been dealt. I’m able to learn at an outstanding rate.

It doesn’t take much for me to pick up on the basics. From there, learning the nuances of anything is not a challenge! Some may say that I’m a Jack-of-all-Trades, master of a few. I’m not ashamed to say, “I don’t know.” Even if I’m familiar with how to complete a task. That way I can be re-aquatinted with a system or the process of completing a task. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Most are the same, by the book. Some people are just “winging it” to get by. To “wing it” when it comes to taxes may result in an audit. “Winging it” when it on a construction site may result in injury or death of a co-worker when safety is lax.

There are some that may say there is no harm in “skirting by” if the end result is the same. What people doesn’t realize is, it does more harm than good.

Proficiency is a requirement for many things in life. From living within your means to knowing how to avoid a bad situation for yourself and others.

Having a good work ethic and teaching quality instead of quantity to subordinates and today’s youth is the best that anyone should do to secure a better future for everyone.
