After about 6 months of not driving at all because of other business obligations, I started driving again for Uber.
I drove Tuesday Night, Thursday Night, and Saturday Night, from 7:00PM to 7:00 AM the next morning. It seems that business is picking up a little since the last time I drove in December. When I wasn’t driving for Uber I was driving for Lyft. This was all possible by an app called Mystro. Mystro automates accepting trip requests between the two apps and turns the dormant app off and on so that I can focus on doing what I do best, drive. There is some interaction required, such as arrival, starting a trip, and ending a trip on both the Uber and Lyft apps.
Here is a breakdown of what I earned each night I worked. The total includes $12.00 in tips through the Lyft app.
Uber | Lyft | |
Tuesday | $88.17/11 trips | $45.26/4 trips |
Thursday | $71.89/8 trips | $26.96/2 trips |
Saturday | $136.60/19 trips | $45.36/5 trips |
Total | $296.66/38 trips | $117.58/11 trips |
As you can see, I earned 2 1/2 times as much with Uber as I did Lyft. Lyft isn’t that well known in Jackson. There are people who live in Jackson that still does’t know Uber is here. But I seemed to do well for only 3 nights of driving.
Use my referral code to get the Mystro App. Sign up to drive for Uber with my promo code. Get Lyft with a bonus (depending on area) with my promo code.
