On April 18th I received a notification from the Facebook App for Android that I have been temporarily restricted from liking a Page or following/subscribing to a profile until the middle of May.

I was one of many that got hit with this ban for no reason. I wasn’t even on Facebook or using the app when I was banned from using the features. This automatic “feature” that Facebook has put into practice is suppose to cut down on spam. However, it also limits people who run businesses and uses the like and follow/subscribe feature when promoting and advertising their business.

It seems like a lot of people has been restricted at the same time. I have noticed by other people’s screenshots that the restrictions were placed around the same time on the same day.

I want to hear from more folks on this issue so post your comments below.
